We all know Dave as the Mercury Prize-winning rapper and Brixton legend, but did you know he’s also an avid collector of Stone Island? What began as admiration for the brand has now evolved into collaboration. For his 2026 “The Boy Who Played The Harp” tour, he has teamed up with the Italian label to create an exclusive tour wardrobe.

It marks the first time in the brand’s history that it has collaborated with a musician on a tour. Inspired by the rapper’s personal archive, the custom pieces reimagine the brand’s technical, performance-driven outerwear for the stage.

Working closely with Dave, the designs move from super fan inspiration to stage-ready innovation, including an over-dyed nylon hooded tracksuit and a hooded jacket paired with a matching vest and trousers. Featuring a unique highly reflective plated camouflage pattern, each piece comes to life under the spotlights.

The show stopping piece in the line-up is an iridescent double-layer metal mesh jumpsuit. At the tour’s opening night in London, frequent collaborator James Blake joined in on the fashion action. The superstar crooner helped open the show in a mercurial jacket, reflecting the stage lights and pyromaniacs as they performed “History” and “Selfish”.

The collaboration doesn’t end with the tour. Fans will be able to take home highly reflective jackets and collectable pieces featuring dedicated “Specially Made For Dave, The Boy Who Played The Harp” tags. Of course, the signature Compass insignia is present for fellow collectors.

The collaboration will also be marked with special installations at select Stone Island stores and at Dover Street Market. Co-curated by Dave and Stone Island archivist Archie Maher, the display – “Stone Island Selected Works: Archival Pieces From The Collection of Dave 2016–2026” – showcases rare pieces from the rapper’s personal archive.
