Despite this intimidating reality, a DJ and musical expert like Pyro Tiger finds comfort in taking up the challenge of standing out from the expanding crowd of creatives. Pulling her stage name from the year in which she was born, otherwise dubbed the “Year of the Tiger,” she pointedly cultivates an indisputable knack for leadership and an unbreakable spirit as she shares her latest tuneful offering, “Under Pressure.”
Pyro’s Push into Music Production and the DJ Scene
Born in Hong Kong within the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Tiger, Pyro would prove herself to be a perfect example of her birthdate’s symbolic disposition. Today, the rising DJ, musician, and producer aims to set every stage ablaze with her distinct sound.
Having previously opened for Diplo and other musical megastars, she has also exhibited her artistry at frequented many major NYC discotheque destinations.

Making Music with Resilience and Versatility
Drawing on her Hungarian and Australian roots and her mother’s Indian heritage, Pyro grew up surrounded by a kaleidoscope of sound. From the K-Pop she loved as a teen to French pop and the global electronic scene that she felt deeply connected to, each influence shaped her unique style. She moved around the world from China to Brussels before eventually finding herself in the United States, and every place left its mark on her musical perspective.
Frequent moves and school-bound mistreatment tested her resilience, yet music became both refuge and outlet. Inspired by her fiery personality while working in nightlife, she embraced the nickname “Pyro” and built her stage persona around a fierce yet feminine energy that continues to define her artistry. Her journey accelerated in New York City’s club circuit, where she honed her skills as a DJ and shared stages with major acts including Diplo. Pyro debuted her own music in May 2024 with her first single “Honest.” The track marked a defining moment in her career as she stepped from club DJ into the world of a recording artist and sang on a record she would later perform live in her sets. She followed with the Afro-house single “Was It Worth It” in August 2025. She is now entering a bold new era with the upcoming release of “Under Pressure” on October 3, 2025, and has much more music planned for the months ahead.
Emerging Anew in Entertainment
Pyro would dedicate her DJ-ing journey to the traditional, starting her production path on vinyl “because it’s the original way” that true disc jockeys do their jobs. By 2020, she would quickly shift to CDJs, turning heads with her culturally creative sounds and unforgettable performances.
Kicking off her career with her debut single ‘Honest,’ Pyro’s stand-out voice and music composition would prevail in time for her latest track ‘Under Pressure.’
