BTS’ j-hope shares exclusive image as he releases his new track ‘Killin’ It Girl’
The track features American rapper GloRilla

The end of the month of June promises glorious things in the K-pop world, as all the members of global phenomenon BTS will reunite, after completing their eighteen-month stints of mandatory military service. In terms of anticipation level, it’s the K-pop equivalent of Oasis, the Spice Girls, the Beatles or One Direction reuniting. The world-record breaking group’s members have been keeping their fanbase (the Army) happy before the inevitable reunion, with individual music releases that has allowed each idol to sonically explore on their own. Rapper j-hope has clearly relished this exploration phase, having already released two solo albums, and has just released his new track ‘Killin’ It Girl’ (featuring GloRilla) complete with music video.
j-hope has collaborated with producer Cirkut, who’s known for writing and producing mega hits for everyone from Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears to The Weeknd. The track has infusions of catchy pop hooks within the hip-hop heavy track and has glassy percussion and a golden-era Justin Timberlake simmering sensual sound to it. American rapper GloRilla joins the track to add another layer to the song that’s all about love at first sight. The K-Pop idol has shared an exclusive image with us to celebrate the release of his new song.
