Watch Jacob Alon’s spine-tingling performance of ‘Of Amber’ at the Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025

The Scottish star brought the Roundhouse to silence with a stunning mid-set performance.

Jacob Alon performed a beautiful rendition of ‘Of Amber’ at the Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025 last night – watch the full performance below.

The Scottish singer, who was nominated for the Mercury Prize this year for debut album In Limerence, brought one of the album’s highlights to tonight’s show at London’s Roundhouse.

Alon also nominated for The Play Next Award at the ceremony after being nominated alongside Cliffords, Getdown Services, Westside Cowboy, Skye Newman and Rianne Downey.

During their acceptance speech, Alon marked Trans Day of Remembrance, which fell on the same day as the awards, saying: “Those are the beautiful, beautiful shoulders that I stand on the most. Thank you so much for reminding me why love is the only thing that is ever worth it.”

The show, overseen by our masterful host Danny Dyer, also saw performances from Myles Smith and a one-of-a-kind performance of ‘Linger’ by The Cranberries’ Noel Hogan and Royel Otis. Award winners included Lewis Capaldi, FKA twigsBiffy ClyroBob Geldof and Wunderhorse.
