KOKO has announced the full line-up for their Electronic events series later this summer.

The famed London venue recently reopened after initially closing for refurbishment in 2019 for a planned period of a year but that was pushed back by the Covid-19 pandemic.

£70m was spent redeveloping the venue which suffered from “colossal water damage”.

Summer Season is set to take over KOKO every weekend from June to September with the sets running from 10pm to 5am.

The first night in the series is this Friday (1o June), with Helena Hauff headlining alongside Batu, Crystallmess, Lee Gamble and Pandora’s Jukebox.

The venue is also set to host a UK and South Africa special featuring Mr JazziQ, Uncle Waffles and DJ Lag with Novelist, Moses Boyd, Scratchclart and Charrise C.

5 August will feature a rap heavy night with Benji B, Lil Silva and Pa Salieu with Mike Skinner topping a night at the end of the summer.

Arcade Fire headlined KOKO’s grand reopening on 29 April to celebrate the release of their sixth album ‘WE’.

New additions to KOKO include its 200-capacity Fly Tower ‘venue within a venue’, a new shop/DJ space (which will feature “exclusive merch drops and artist collaborations”) and a morning to late-night pizzeria and tap bar, with Café KOKO also set to host intimate live performances.

KOKO Electronic is a series of live events held at the Camden venue to spotlight renowned and up and coming electronic artists.

Since KOKO reopened, the likes of Jayda G, Honey Dijon and Mall Grab have performed at the venue.

Stormzy recently joined Knucks on stage during his recent headline gig at the venue which saw him give away a Bitcoin worth £23,000.

Loyle Carner and Venna also surprise appearances to perform their collaboration ‘Standout’.
