anaiis has shared the video for ‘be alright’, marking the latest release from the celebrated French-Senegalese singer.

The track features on the singer’s 2021 album this is no longer a dream and comes accompanied by a video to match its sprawling musical themes.

It shows anaiis singing in a darkened room, before the intimate setting makes away for a performance in front of a lake located in a vast quarry.

“Everything is gonna be, everything, Everything is gonna be, It’s gon’ be alright, Everything is gonna be, everything, Everything is gonna be,” she sings on the contemplative effort, which pits her soulful vocals against imposing instrumentation.

Describing the video, anaiis, said: “Creating it truly reflected the process of rebirth. It was challenging in many ways, encouraging me to push beyond my limits but it was beautiful to see our vision come to life.”

anaiis’ latest album arrived in September last year via her own independent imprint Dream Sequence Recordings. The debut album includes contributions from Chronixx, Topaz Jones, Sjava, Jay Prince, CKTRL, Onyx Collective, Jesse & Foreve, while the artwork was captured by iconic Brazilian photographer Raphael Pavarotti and phenomenal creative director Ib Kamara.
