Harry Kane has teamed up with Skechers to launch the Off Pitch collection, which allows the England captain to show the side of him that only comes out when he isn’t leading Bayern Munich to Bundesliga glory.

The star striker has launched the new sneaker capsule with the shoe giant – who also provide all of his boots – and the at-home range reflects his success on the pitch. It’s a new take on Skechers’ Koopa and UNO styles and there’s a subtle nod to Bayern with white and pops of burgundy on select pairs.

To mark this new look at Harry, we’ve got the man himself to talk us through the songs that have defined his life, ranging from current favourites to songs that have marked key milestones. You can check out Harry’s picks below.

A song you’ve been listening to recently

My most recent song that I’ve been listening to is ‘Follow Me’ by Uncle Kracker. This has been my song of the month!

A song you can’t get out of your head

The Deutscher Fußballmeister song was stuck in my head for the weeks during the Bundesliga title celebrations. It played at every event, becoming our team’s anthem, and now it brings back happy memories of that special time.

A song that reminds you of family

‘Tree Birds’ by Dylan Gossett was a favourite of mine a couple of months ago. This song reminds me of my wife and children as we sing it together while we’re at home. If I listen to this before a match, I have fond memories of them.

Who controls the music at Bayern Munich?

There’s a mix between Jamal [Musiala], Micheal [Olise] and Alphonso [Davies], who plays music in training and before and after games as well.

An old school song you love?

An old school song I listen to is ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’ by Bob Seger. This reminds me of my parents listening to it at home when I was younger. It brings back fond memories.

Your favourite song of all time?

I think my all-time favourite song is ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran as it was mine and my wife, Kate’s wedding song.

A song that gets you going?

I like to listen to ‘Shout’ by The Isley Brothers. It’s a good song to listen to at the start of the week to get myself going!

A song you listen to pre-game?

‘Wagon Wheel’ by Darius Rucker is a favourite- I play this before games as it’s got a fast beat, and it makes me feel pumped up before a game. I love a bit of country, one of my most listened to songs of this genre is ‘Lone Ole Cowboy’ by Dylan Gossett.

A go to playlist?

I always listen to different types of playlists. I like a bit of everything such as Adele, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran and country music. I’ve got a wide range of music tastes.
