Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have been given the meme treatment after the bizarre story of the couple’s first encounter went viral.

In their recent cover interview with British GQ, the offbeat couple of the moment reflected on the time they first met.

Despite saying they met properly on the set of the action film ‘Midnight In The Switchgrass’, the pair said their first encounter was at a GQ party in Los Angeles.

Fox said: “I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature and I looked up and I was like, “You smell like weed.” He looked down at me and he was like, ‘I am weed’. Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja in a smoke bomb.”

The recalling of the wacky encounter and MGK’s ethereal response naturally brought a wave of memes about the abstract tale of modern day courtship that sparked their current infatuation.

One Twitter user repurposed the line by placing it in ‘Love Actually’s’ most romantic moment where Mark confesses his love to Juliet with a sign at her door reading “To me you are perfect”. And the meme instead, well, you know.

Another drew inspiration from ‘The Notebook’s’ “If you’re a bird I’m a bird scene” between Allie and Noah.

As if ‘Twilight’ wasn’t memable enough, Bella’s irresistible scent of blood was replaced with, you guessed it, weed.

There was no turning back when ‘Breaking Bad’s’ Walter White became peak Heisenberg with the line “I am the one who knocks”. But “I am weed” works too.

In ‘The Avengers’, Captain America tells Bruce Banner, also The Hulk, “Now might be a good time for you to get angry”. His secret cap is that he’s always angry. Or weed.

“And I swear in that moment, we were infinite.” The defining line of 2012’s ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’, reduced now to, well, a mildly funny meme.
