Myles Smith shares new single ‘Stay (If You Wanna Dance)’
“This song is about escaping the cycle that makes life feel smaller than it really is."

Myles Smith has unveiled his brand new single ‘Stay (If You Wanna Dance)’. Check it out in full below.
The latest track from the singer comes at the tail end of a breakthrough year which has seen him pick up the BRITs Rising Star Award, as well as heading out on tour across Europe with his good friend Ed Sheeran.
The new song, Myles explains, is all about the importance of escaping the monotony of everyday life for something greater.
“This song is about escaping the cycle that makes life feel smaller than it really is. At its heart, it’s about connection, freedom, and choosing to live for now,” Myles said.
It’s the latest from Myles after his breakthrough single, ‘Stargazing’, became the biggest global hit of the year by a UK artist in 2024, spending 29 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and fast-approaching one billion global Spotify streams.
Performing at the 2025 BRIT Awards, he also called on the government to do more to support the arts and ensure future generations have access to creative opportunities.
“Tonight while I have the attention of the nation and this award, I want to ask three questions. My first is to the government. If British music is one of the most powerful cultural exports we have, why have you treated it like an afterthought for so many years,” he said.
“How many more venues need to close and how many more music programs need to be cut before we realise that we can’t just celebrate success, you have to protect the foundations that make it. My second is to the biggest venues in the country and around the world. If the artists selling out your arenas and your stadiums started in grassroots venues, what are you doing to keep them alive?”
He also performed at Glastonbury earlier this year. Check out our photos of that here.
