Hotly-tipped London star Olivia Dean has shared a live performance of ‘Dive’, captured at the singer’s sold-out show at KOKO last month.

The new video, which can you watch exclusively below, captures the singer in full flight as she delivers a soul-driven rendition of the powerful track.

“Koko was a huge moment for me. I had so much fun! I have the most incredible band and the energy in the room that night was bouncing off the walls,” said Dean of the performance.

“Now I get to share that with you.”

The video comes at the start of a huge year for the singer. As well as KOKO, she sold out a date at London’s Roundhouse last month – all before the release of her anticipated debut album.

Titled Messy, Dean’s debut arrives on June 30, with an official release explaining that it combines “conversational hooks with genre-fluid tinges”.

“Going into making the record, I’d just done this ‘Growth’ project. And for ages, I was like, well, my debut album needs to be what I’ve grown into, I need to have the answer. And that really confused me for a while. Then I realised, I’m always going to be growing. So this doesn’t have to be a destination, it’s just where I’m at now,” she said of the album.

“It’s funny because I think it’s the most fine-tuned I’ve got my sound to be, but also the most carefree I’ve been in actually making music… some of it’s quite vulnerable but it was just made out of pure fun and joy and unbotheredness, and I think I’ve done a good job with calling it Messy because if anybody says it’s all over the place I’ll be like, yeah!”
