The Enemy have announced a UK reunion tour for 2022 – you can find all the details below.

The Coventry band played a string of farewell shows in 2016, having released their latest album ‘It’s Automatic’ the previous year.

On Saturday (October 30), however, frontman Tom Clarke surprised fans by inviting his former bandmates onstage during a solo gig at HMV Empire Coventry.

“Make some noise for Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts,” he told the crowd. “The reason they are here today is because in about a year’s time in this room, in this building, all three of us are gonna be on stage as The Enemy, we are going to play a show.”

Clarke continued: “But that’s not the best bit. The best bit is, there’s no music industry here tonight, no journalists, just us and you lot and as of right now, the only people in the world who can buy tickets to that gig are you lot in the crowd.”

Fans were able to scan QR codes around the venue to access tickets for the reunion show, which will take place on October 28, 2022.

The Enemy subsequently took to social media to officially announce their upcoming live return, while confirming that tickets had “sold out immediately”. Clarke also teased that further dates could follow, telling those who had missed out to “have patience”.

Coming good on his word, The Enemy have today detailed a full UK tour to mark the 15th anniversary of their debut album, ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’. The ‘Reunion Tour’ kicks off in Leeds on September 22, with shows continuing into late October.

Tickets go on sale at 10am GMT this Friday (November 5). Check out the post below.

“It’s been six years since we all played together, we can’t wait to play for you again,” the group wrote in a statement.

“What we weren’t expecting was quite how excited we would all be to play together again. There’s a lot of anticipation and excitement from the three of us to go out and play, just us, the songs and the fans. We really can’t wait!”
