Toby Sebastian has unveiled the video for ‘Midnight’, on which he duets with his sister, Florence Pugh. You can see it below.

The track is the latest single from Sebastian, following last year’s ‘Real Kicks’ and ‘Rock Rolling’, and features backing vocals from Little Women and Don’t Worry Darling star Pugh. The video, which sees the pair on stage together, soundtracking a story of blossoming love on the dancefloor, was shot at their family’s Oxford restaurant Kazbar, and was directed by Mike Palmer.

According to Sebastian, the collaboration was unplanned and organic. “We’ve always grown up collaborating as a family, which is kind of the beauty of this song, and now the video that we’ve created, he said in a statement. “When I was writing the song, I was literally walking out the door to go and do the final edit and my mum was like, “Floss, why don’t you sing some backing vocals?”, so we jumped in the car and with no rehearsal and about 20 minutes of studio time, and Florence added her magic to the track.”

“We had so much fun filming in our family restaurant, a place that my sisters and I all grew up in,” Sebastian continued. “The restaurant has an amazing vibe so we knew it would be the perfect setting for the music video. We shot the whole thing with a crew and cast made up of close friends and family, so it was a lot of fun.” The single arrives as Sebastian gears up for his debut headline UK tour – you can find the full dates below.

He continues to work towards a debut album, having switched his focus from an acting career of his own; he appeared as Trystane Martell in Game of Thrones. Pugh’s next film, the Zach Braff-directed drama A Good Person, arrives in UK cinemas later this month; later in 2023, she will return to blockbusters, with roles in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two.
