London’s Community festival is set to return this year, with Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats and Pale Waves among artists announced on the line-up.

Circa Waves, Nothing But Thieves, Abby Roberts and Alfie Templeman also join the bill for the indie festival after a three-year hiatus, which will take place at Finsbury Park on July 16.

Two Door Cinema Club, who are set to headline the festival for a second time, said: “We’re so happy to be headlining Community Festival! It’s been a rough couple of years for live music so we’re very excited to get back to doing what we do best. The lineup is fantastic and we can’t wait to see some of the best established and newest bands.”

The Wombats said they’re “so excited to be heading back to Finsbury Park” with “such an amazing line-up”. Nothing But Thieves added: “Hometown festival here we go.  We loved our last outing at Community Fest and it’s about time we finally bring Moral Panic to a London field. Roll up, play a gig, enjoy the festival, stumble home. See ya there.”

General admission tickets for for Community Festival go on sale at February 25 at 9am here.

Two Door Cinema Club, who headlined Community Festival in 2018, are also set to perform at new Welsh festival In It Together alongside Noel Gallagher.

Elsewhere, last month The Wombats scored their first UK number One album with ‘Fix Yourself, Not The World’.

The band reflected on the achievement, which saw them place above Ed Sheeran and Adele in the Official Charts, with a series of tweets.

“Thanks to everyone who helped us make this album, to everyone involved in getting it out into the world, to everyone behind the scenes, our amazing live touring crew, it really does take a lot of wonderful hard working people to make and put an album out.

They continued: “Final thanks to all our family, friends and fans for your support over the years, we could never have done this without you all. Number fucking 1. We did it! Indie Landfill Forever. D, M & T x.”
