Oasis announce 2025 reunion tour photobook
The book features 1,000 unseen images from photographer Simon Emmett across the enormous Live '25 world tour
Oasis are set to release a huge photobook documenting their enormous Live ’25 world tour.
The book, part of the Opus series and curated alongside the Gallagher brothers, will feature 1,000 unseen images from the tour by photographer Simon Emmett.
Discussing the book, and the reaction to his photo of Liam and Noel to announce the reunion in 2024, Emmett said: “When I saw the reaction to the photo, it was obvious to me that this wasn’t a single event. The photograph was the beginning of something. I felt strongly that this needed to be documented. There was no facade, this was genuine.
“We watched the crowd having the time of their lives, but the band and the crew are also having equally as good a time. That’s what was so magical about it. Opus is a really appropriate home for something like Oasis Live ‘25. They’re a unique publisher, and it was a unique tour. I just hope that in some small way that it has captured the essence of joy of it.”
The book will be released in four editions – Live Forever, Wonderwall, Glory and Supernova – and ship from May. You can pre-order a copy here.
The first copy of the Wonderwall edition of the book is set to be auctioned off in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. Jane Ashton, Head of Music and Entertainment at the charity, said: “This is such a special fundraiser for us as Oasis have been huge supporters of the charity for almost 25 years, and we’re so very grateful to them for choosing us to receive the proceeds from the first edition, as well as be associated with such an iconic tour and product.
“Teenage Cancer Trust exists because cancer care wasn’t made for young people – and we’re here to make sure every young person has the treatment, care and support they need. I know that the sale of this first edition will help us be there for more young people who need us, when they need us the most. Thank you Oasis and thank you Opus!”
Elsewhere, the documentary about Oasis’ monumental 2025 reunion tour is reportedly clocking in at about four hours long, with producer Steven Knight calling it “phenomenal.”
Reviewing the first night of the world tour in Cardiff, Rolling Stone UK said: “Oasis’ arsenal of generation-defining hits is hardly a secret, but when confronted with them one after another like this, it’s truly overwhelming and doesn’t let up for over two hours.”
