The Record Label Award at the Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025 has gone to XL Recordings.
The boundary-pushing label have released music by Jim Legxacy, Radiohead, Blawan and more across a brilliant 2025, and beat the likes of RCA, Warner Records and Dead Oceans to the prize.
Picking up the award at tonight’s Roundhouse ceremony, the label said: “A record label is defined by the artist it represents. We are blessed to work with an incredible roster of artists. That’s who’s winning this – we’re just here to collect it. Thank you to every artist we work with, and every artist we’ve ever worked with.”
The Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025 kicked off earlier tonight with a performance from Myles Smith, who also won The Breakthrough Award. Other award winners so far include Biffy Clyro, Bob Geldof, Wunderhorse, I Swear, The Cranberries and Jacob Alon, who also performed their song ‘Of Amber’.
