Westside Cowboy detail debut EP ‘This Better Be Something Great’
New single ‘Alright Alright Alright’ comes ahead of the band's Woodsies performance at Glastonbury next week
Manchester’s Westside Cowboy have announced details of their debut EP.
This Better Be Something Great will come out on August8 via Nice Swan Recordings/Heist or Hit, and is being previewed by new single ‘Alright Alright Alright’.
“This song was the first original thing we ever played as a band, before we had any real ambition for the project toreach the ears of anyone outside of that room,” they said of the new single.
“It is a punk song about a cowboy, and if anyone can take away any more from it than that, consider us impressed.”

Westside Cowboy won the 2025 Emerging Talent Competition for Glastonbury, winning a slot on the Woodsies Stage at Glastonbury 2025, plus a £5,000 Talent Development prize from the PRS Foundation.
