David Koma is no stranger to dressing superstars. His designs have become a go-to for some of the biggest names in music, from BLACKPINK to Beyoncé, who wore the designer throughout her Renaissance world tour.

Now, Koma is looking beyond the stars of this planet altogether. For Pre-Fall 2026, the London-based designer sets his sights on Krypton, naming Supergirl as his unlikely – but fitting – muse.

The lineup reimagines Koma’s signature party-girl aesthetic with the iconic DC heroine in mind. Known for his sharp silhouettes, Koma blends power and sensuality in a way that mirrors Supergirl’s own dual identity.

High hemlines sit in contrast to wide-leg tailoring, creating a dynamic tension between playfulness and authority. The collection’s colour palette leans heavily into Kryptonian codes, with saturated tones of heroic blue and crimson red offering a direct homage to the character’s legendary costume.

Outerwear plays a key role in expressing Supergirl’s strength. Cropped puffer jackets bring a sporty sensibility, while strong, exaggerated shoulders underscore a sense of resilience and power. These bold shapes are balanced with sleek fabrics and body-conscious cuts, staying true to Koma’s sultry universe.

The collection is modelled by Yasmin Wijnaldum, whose commanding presence reinforces the heroic undertones of the designs. The project also marks a major collaboration for the brand, with Koma teaming up with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products on an officially licensed collection inspired by the DC heroine.

Timed to coincide with the June 2026 theatrical and IMAX release of Supergirl starring Milly Alcock, the fashion-meets-comics crossover will be available to fans upon the film’s debut. With this collection, Koma proves that superhero style can be both powerful and unapologetically chic.
