Beatlemania is back and PHIX wants you to dress the part
The PHIX x The Beatles collection charts the Fab Four’s style evolution through tailoring, psychedelia and rock’n’roll opulence
A new wave of Beatlemania is on the horizon as Hollywood leading men Harris Dickinson, Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn and Barry Keoghan prepare to step into the shoes of the Fab Four for The Beatles. Directed by Sam Mendes, the cinematic event comprises four separate biographical films, each following the trajectory of each member.
And if history tells us anything, the music is only half the story. The Beatles’ wardrobes proved just as influential, from sharp ’60s tailoring to the psychedelic excess of their later years. Now, PHIX wants to make sure we’re dressed for their second coming.

Inspired by the band’s style evolution from their formation in 1960 to their final public performance in 1969, the PHIX x The Beatles collection charts a decade of constant reinvention. Rather than recreating archival looks, PHIX reimagines the band’s biggest style moments, from the mod tailoring of their early years to the psychedelic colour and military influence of the Sgt. Pepper era.
Naturally, the tailoring is a highlight. Double breasted jackets arrive in sumptuous velvet and opulent tones, with select styles embroidered with sequins for added stage presence. Elsewhere, sharp 1970s inspired spread collars bring attitude to retro printed shirts, balancing the collection’s more flamboyant references with classic menswear silhouettes.
Texture does much of the talking. Sheer floral paisley, metallic velvet dots, intricate embellishment and long pile faux fur capture the colour and experimentation that came to define The Beatles’ later wardrobes. Strawberry Fields inspired paisleys lean into psychedelia without feeling like costume, translating the band’s more eccentric years into pieces that still feel wearable today.
Perhaps the biggest statement comes courtesy of a shaggy long pile faux fur coat. With its extended silhouette and broad collar, the style takes its cues from The Beatles’ legendary rooftop performance at Apple Corps, 3 Savile Row, in January 1969. It’s dramatic, decadent and exactly the sort of thing to have you looking forward to Beatlemania all over again.

There’s no denying that some of the greatest style inspiration starts and ends with music. No matter the place or decade, musicians have proven time and again to be the ultimate influencers. PHIX knows this better than most. The Manchester-based menswear brand has long mined the rock’n’roll archives to reimagine the modern wardrobe, with previous collections celebrating The Rolling Stones and David Bowie.
With its latest collaboration, PHIX turns to arguably the most influential band of them all. And with a new era of Beatlemania fast approaching, there’s never been a better time to dress the part.
