A “thrilling new hunting ground for our Traitors” will arrive in London next year

A stage show of The Traitors will arrive in London’s West End next year, it’s been announced.
The play will reportedly tell a story directly inspired by the show’s hit format, which sees a group of faithfuls banding together to sniff out the Traitors in their midst and win a considerable cash prize in the process.
It’s being developed by Studio Lambert, the production house behind the show, and Neal Street Productions, which as the BBC notes, was co-founded by Sam Mendes.
Writing the show is celebrated comedy scribe John Finnemore, which could give a clue to the show’s tone, while Robert Hastie – no stranger to the West End with shows such as Operation Mincemeat and Standing At The Sky’s Edge – will direct.
Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, said: Taking The Traitors from screen to stage is a hugely exciting next step for this much-loved brand. Partnering with Neal Street Productions, a true theatrical powerhouse, allows us to reimagine the show as a bold and surprising theatrical performance. Faithful fans should expect an intense, joyful night out as we reveal a thrilling new hunting ground for our Traitors.”
Caro Newling, Co-Founder of Neal Street Productions, said: “In developing The Traitors for the stage, Neal Street and Studio Lambert have curated a team of brilliant faithful theatre-makers led by director Rob Hastie and writer John Finnemore to bring a bold, structural twist to the format that only the live medium can provide.”
More info will be revealed here in due course.
