Alexandra Beck: A Bold New Voice on the Global Pop Scene
In partnership with Riptide Agency

Alexandra Beck is a bold new voice in the global pop landscape. The Canadian independent artist is making waves in Los Angeles with her triple-threat artistry in singing, dancing, and songwriting. Her VEVO debut “Hit This” merges powerful vocals with professional choreography, placing her squarely on the radar of international tastemakers.
A Triple-Threat Performer With a Distinct Brand
Alexandra is an emerging triple threat, a source of pride for her. She blends professional choreography with powerhouse vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting, a trait that is lacking among many upcoming artists today. Her recent VEVO debut “Hit This”, choreographed by renowned LA Heels choreographer Marissa Heart, highlights the full spectrum of Alexandra’s range of skills. In Alexandra’s words, “I’m less than 5’2, and you’re not expecting someone the size of me to sing big.” But she does, and her upcoming work is sure to put any naysayers in their place.

From Saskatoon to LA: A Story of Risk and Determination
Taking a leap of faith, Alexandra moved from Canada to Los Angeles to pursue her music dreams. Like many artists, she had to navigate financial and emotional hurdles along the way, which is even trickier in a hyper-competitive city like LA. She overcame these obstacles through mentorship and the creative community at LA’s The Playground, where she found both artistic growth and friendship. Her indomitable spirit and raw talent have taken her far, leading her to early industry recognition. Beck’s mentor gifted her with sage advice that she still carries today: “It’s not about being the best, it’s about what makes you uniquely you.”
Global Reach
Alexandra’s upcoming single, “Shoreditch House,” was inspired by a night out in East London. Those sounds are captured in the garage-influenced track, offering a London club vibe through a Canadian-American lens that highlights the singer’s talents. She says about this eye-opening experience, “London is my favourite city. That trip inspired ‘Shoreditch House,’ and I can’t wait to share it.”
It is that rawness and authenticity that appeals to so many. Alexandra’s mantra, “Trust your gut,” is her response to the many challenges she has faced in the industry, as well as to those trying to break into the scene. She believes that challenges are life’s repeated lessons, until one learns from them, a lesson she learned from transitioning from a scarcity mindset to one of gratitude.

California Dreaming
Moving to LA was more than a transitional experience for Alexandra. She found it “rough, expensive, and cutthroat, unlike the first time I moved (to Vancouver from my hometown, Saskatoon,” but she persevered and found a type of family that inspires her to this day.
She found inspiration at the incredible dance community at the dance centre “The Playground,” which made her feel like she had a home away from home.
Before moving to LA, Alexandra admits to being a very negative person, always “seeing the lack in her life”. Her LA experience has taught her about the many blessings in her life and how fortunate she is to be where she is at this stage.
Alexandra, buoyed by her LA experience, hopes to release a song as a movie theme in the foreseeable future, and she is on the right path. Her story resonates with many because it is authentic and flows through her vocals, appealing to a new wave of pop fans.
