AllSaints collaborate with The Royal Ballet

Fashion meets dance with the AllSaints x Royal Ballet, bringing edge to the classic artform.

By Joseph Kocharian

AllSaints are known for their rock’n’roll aesthetic with their clothing, but they’re dancing along with another art form, partnering with the Royal Ballet for their Winter 23 collection. The 24 -piece AllSaints x Royal Ballet collaboration includes four Royal Ballet dancers, Bomin Kim, Viola Pantuso, Brayden Gallucci and Joonhyuk Jun.

Sequins, jewels and embellishment are at the heart of the collection, which is perfectly paired with the dancers who’s business is to draw the audiences eye to them on the stage. There is of course the AllSaints raw toughness to bring edge to the shimmer, giving a diamond-in-the-rough, fashion-lead aesthetic to the capsule.

The dancers showcase the Winter collection, titled “The Stars Are Out” that include oversized shearling jackets, iridescent details, and leather two pieces with plenty of the AllSaints popular DNA. The shoot starts with the Royal Ballet quartet rehearsing in the dance studios of the Royal Opera House, before focusing on the night, photographing the dark glamour and glittering pieces of the collection under the lights of the Royal Opera House.

As well the winter collection, AllSaints and The Royal Ballet have designed limited-edition t-shirts and hoodies, that are available to purchase in all UK AllSaints stores, via the AllSaints website, the Royal Opera house shop and their online store. 10% of proceeds from the collection will be donated to The Royal Opera House Covent Garden Foundation.
