Audemars Piguet has announced the second year of its collaboration with RAYE, continuing a partnership between the luxury watch brand and the acclaimed singer.

The British singer and Audemars share a mutual commitment to values of independence, resilience and craft, making them the perfect bedfellows to join forces.

This year, the collaboration takes shape in a bespoke live performance co-created with Audemars Piguet, to be presented on the opening anniversary night of the Montreux Jazz Festival’s 60th edition. The show, titled THIS STAGE MAY CONTAIN MOMENTS IN TIME, will be a powerful interpretation of time, creativity and self-expression, while paying tribute to six decades of musical history.

This initiative echoes the Manufacture’s long-standing commitment to fostering human talent, embodied by its APxMusic programme. Through this platform, Audemars Piguet engages in creative dialogues with musical talents, fostering meaningful connections through shared experiences that extend beyond watchmaking.

It comes after RAYE and Mark Ronson teamed up last year on ‘Suzanne’, an original track which showcased the artists’ common values by blending the sounds of musical instruments with digital technology, resulting in a groovy melody enhanced by RAYE’s unparalleled vocals.

“RAYE reminds us that time is something we can shape for ourselves. By owning her craft and her journey, she shows that you do not need to follow the crowd. At Audemars Piguet, we want to support artists who dare to do exactly that and empower them to turn their vision into reality,” said Audemars’ Chief Executive Officer Ileria Resta.

RAYE said: “AP shares a common belief in timeless expression rather than chasing what’s loud or on-trend right now. As an artist, I am not afraid to stay true to who I am and to set my own agenda when it comes to my music. I feel AP shares that mentality.”
