Grammy winner Maren Morris will perform a UK-exclusive performance for her headline slot at The Long Road Festival on Sunday 30 August. The globally recognised country-pop starlet joins previously announced artists including the record-breaking Bailey Zimmerman, 14-time Grammy winner Emmylou Harris and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Steve Earl.

The Long Road Festival returns for its seventh year on the August Bank Holiday weekend, taking place on the grounds of Stanford Hall in Leicestershire from the 27th-30th.

Morris has built an incredible roster of accolades, amassing a Grammy Award, five ACM Awards, five CMA Awards, and three Billboard Music Awards, alongside earning gold certifications worldwide and tallying billions of streams. The powerhouse has even collaborated with a number of industry heavyweights including Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Teddy Swims, Zedd and Hozier.

Festival Co-Founder Baylen Leonard said in a statement: “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the fearless and peerless Maren Morris to TLR this year. A storyteller, a mould breaker, and an absolute authentic powerhouse with a catalogue of smash hits and singalong anthems that is sure to make it a night to remember.

“I’m sure I won’t be alone in getting on someone’s shoulders to wave my hands back and forth and scream sing ‘My Church’.”

Other artists announced to perform across the weekend include British country duo and CMA award winners The Shires, alongside a host of up-and-coming talent including Stella Prince, Harleymoon Kemp, Harper O’Neil, Chanel Yates, Dan Byrne, Riley Downing, Ryan & Rory and Jonny Morgan, with more to be announced.

Aside from the music performed across its six stages, The Long Road also offers the chance for festival goers to immerse themselves in the country lifestyle, with Stateside food traders, craft beers and line dancing, alongside car and bike shows.
