Oasis and Coldplay lead the biggest tours of 2025

2025 has been the year of comebacks, nostalgia and reunions for music fans, a new report reckons.

Leading ticket marketplace viagogo has released its third annual Year in Live Experiences Report – spotlighting the biggest live music moments in the UK for 2025 – which found Oasis and Coldplay with their headline-generating world tours drove the most demand.

Coldplay took first place as the UK’s top selling artist on viagogo, followed by Oasis. What’s more, Coldplay even drew in enough international fans to fill over half the size of the O2 Arena.

There was a regional divide too. Data from viagogo revealed that Oasis was the most in demand for the North of the UK, landing in the top spot for most tickets sold on the platform for Northern cities such as Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester. While areas such as London, Southampton, Brighton showed the greater demand for Coldplay.

Both bands also took top position for all countries in the UK, bar Northern Ireland. Across the North Channel, that accolade went to Fontaines D.C.

And fans were willing to take their love of Oasis international as the Gallagher brothers traversed the globe, with top international locations for UK fans including Buenos Aires, East Rutherford, Pasadena and Sydney.

Looking forward to 2026, Bon Jovi at Wembley currently sits as the most popular show amongst fans for the UK next year. The UK’s love for nostalgia clearly doesn’t seem to be slowing down with shows for Metallica and My Chemical Romance also reaching the top 10 for next year’s most in demand shows.
