The Visual Arrives as “Operator” Hits #31 on the Billboard Dance Chart and Surpasses 2.7 Million Views
Shyra Sanchez follows the runaway success of “Operator” with the official music video for “Dance With Me,” which dropped in June.
The single, a dance and EDM track built around music as escape, is out now. It follows her debut “Operator,” which hit #4 on the UK Official Big Top 40, charting between BTS and Harry Styles, #31 on the Billboard Dance Chart, and reached #1 on the DRT Global Top 100 Independent Airplay Chart for two consecutive weeks.
Directed by Mariel Noir, with visual creative direction developed in close collaboration between Sanchez and DP Igor Volkov, the video zeroes in on a feeling many viewers will recognise.
Get up, move and dance
Sanchez said: “I wanted to capture that fun, carefree feeling of spending time with friends, letting go, and truly living in the moment. My goal was to create a feel-good video that brings people together, puts a smile on their faces, and inspires them to get up, move, and dance.”
The video marks a deliberate departure from her previous release, which leaned more heavily on performance and visual concept. With this latest release, Sanchez gives her fanbase, collectively nicknamed the ShyShys, a more intimate glimpse into her inner world. As she herself puts it, she “wanted fans to connect with the real Shyra.”
The underlying message behind the video perfectly encapsulates how Sanchez thinks about her music on a broader scale. She is frank about her hope that listeners and viewers alike will be inspired to express themselves, let go of their inhibitions and just dance.
Sanchez said, “My music is about helping people feel good, let loose, and enjoy the moment. If someone hears this song or watches the video and feels a little freer to be themselves, a little more willing to step outside their comfort zone, then it’s doing exactly what it’s meant to do.”
Building on previous momentum
Sanchez’s previous single, “Operator”, has continued building momentum since its initial release, with the video racking up over 2.7M views on YouTube. The track pulled notable digital radio play worldwide with particular traction in San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, New York, and Houston.
The success spawned a full remix package featuring reworks from Dave Audé, Bimbo Jones, Until Dawn, Marc Baigent, and Try Harder. In the UK, the track saw activity in the Music Week club chart, further boosting the single’s traction.
Music was a constant in Sanchez’s Northern California upbringing, shaped by a multicultural household where it became the backdrop to daily life. Taking inspiration from her mother’s strength, she started as a dancer and fitness entrepreneur. However, the irresistible pull of songwriting was always there, as a way to express the truth of her own experiences.
Self expression is true power

Sanchez has previously built successful lifestyle brands, mentored emerging talent, and worked as a motivational speaker. She is driven by the belief that self-expression, in whatever form it takes, is true power.
Since launching her music career, she has collaborated with Grammy-winning producers and worked with acclaimed choreographer and director Travis Payne. She boasts almost 180,000 Instagram followers, a growing platform of YouTube subscribers, and appeared in US Weekly, the Los Angeles Tribune, iHeartRadio, and Swagger Magazine, among her recent milestones.
