Holland, Tom Holland? Rumours have been flying about the casting of the next James Bond and the Spider-Man actor’s name has been among them.

During an appearance in an episode of Gordon Ramsey’s YouTube series Scrambled, Holland addressed the ongoing conjecture, calling the role the “pinnacle” of working as an actor.

“Listen, there’s speculation at the minute,” Holland said when Ramsey joked about the potential of playing Bond. “We’ll keep it to a minimum for now.”

“You think?” Ramsey quipped. “Yeah, we’ll get there one day,” Holland replied.

“Seriously, can you imagine what’s going to happen to your life if you do?” Ramsay asked. “You’d love the opportunity, right?”

“I mean, every young British actor, it’s the pinnacle of working in our industry,” Holland responded. “I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive, you know? I could never have dreamed to have the career that I’ve had.”

Holland’s name is one of many that’s been thrown around since Daniel Craig stepped back from the spy role after 2021’s No Time To Die. There has been buzz that Amazon MGM Studios, which nows helms the Bond franchise, wants to cast a younger actor this time around. Variety reported that the studio and the producers are interested in casting a British actor under the age of 30, with Holland, Jacob Elordi, and Harris Dickinson at the top of the list. Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve will direct the next 007 movie while Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will pen the screenplay.

Holland has two upcoming films already scheduled. He’s currently shooting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits theatres May 1, 2026, and will appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, out on July 17, 2026.
