Adele shared her love for the “absolutely amazing” Rachel Chinouriri during the latest show of her Las Vegas residency this weekend.

The singer is continuing her ‘Weekends With Adele’ residency and took the time during a show on Saturday (February 10) to spotlight one of her favourite new singers.

“Someone sent me a song, I actually can’t remember the name, [but] I’m going to remember her name for next week so I can give her a shoutout,” Adele told the crowd during the show. “There’s a new artist, she’s British, her name is Rachel [Chinouriri] and she does like indie music.”

“She’s absolutely amazing,” Adele added, saying that she is planning to attend Chinouriri’s Los Angeles show at The Echo on March 20.

“I’m going to go on my own,” she said. “That’s what I’m gonna do.”

Responding to the shout-out on X/Twitter, Chinouriri said: “I JUST FUCKING SCREAMED ADELE BABE.”

Rachel Chinouriri will release debut album What A Devastating Turn Of Events in May and recently shared new single ‘Never Need Me’, the latest track to arrive from the record after LP lead single ‘The Hills’.

Of the album, she said in a press release: “It’s finally here. The moment most musicians dream of when they’re a child. I can’t believe it’s real in a way, but I’m proud of it. ‘What A Devastating Turn Of Events’ should feel like discovering a personal journey of all the hardship and struggles that have ultimately made me the person I am today.”

Adele, meanwhile, is set to play a new residency in Munich this summer. “I haven’t played in Europe since 2016! I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer,” she said. “Guten Tag babes.”
