Charli xcx is the new face of Nothing headphones
In a campaign shot by Aidan Zamiri, the Grammy-winner wears the Headphone (a) non-stop for five music-filled days
Is there a musician more sonically fluid than Charli xcx? From helping define the contours of hyperpop alongside the late Sophie, to her recent detour into ‘Rock Music’, the Grammy-winning artist has built a career on constant reinvention rather than repetition.
Her latest chapter arrives through a new partnership with Nothing, the London-based technology brand known for its minimalist design language and unconventional approach to electronics. As the brand’s first global brand ambassador, Charli xcx is at the centre of the company’s expanding cultural footprint across music and design.

In a statement, Charli said: “When I’m creating, I’m always thinking about how my work will be experienced out in the world and I love how Nothing headphones sound and are designed. Its ethos of prioritising creatives is really something I look for when working with a partner.”
Charli xcx’s longtime collaborator Aidan Zamiri shot the global campaign, which shows the artist wearing the Nothing Headphone (a) continuously for five days straight, effectively testing its 135-hour battery life while highlighting the device’s endurance through an uninterrupted stretch of sound.
“I’ve been a fan of Charli’s work for years, and what struck me when we started talking was how much we agreed on. The tech industry has spent a decade making everything quieter, more minimal, more monotonous. Charli has spent her career going the other way in pop. We want Nothing to feel more like that,” says Nothing co-founder and CEO Carl Pei.
Alongside her new role as brand ambassador, Charli xcx also joins The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia as a stakeholder in Nothing, further deepening her ties to the brand. With a career defined by sonic experimentation and genre collapse, her alignment with Nothing reinforces a shared language of creative disruption – one that places music, design and technology in constant dialogue
