It’s been a big week for horsegiirL. The German half-horse/half-human producer, an incredible collection of words admittedly, has today (June 5) released her debut album Nature is Healing ahead of a huge summer for the artist.

But there’s more! They’ve also shared the video for the album track ‘That’s My Beach’, and it’s as brilliantly ridiculous as you might expect. The clip sees the anonymous equine star cavorting on the beach, all while she crosses paths with a most unusual creature: half-woman, half-seahorse.

It’s a unique proposition and one that horsegiirL relished, as the exclusive BTS photos below reveal.

“A hot day at the beach… nothing much to do, reading the latest water sports magazine, sipping on caipirinhas and getting a tan… but what if the girl of your dreams suddenly decides to pull up???,” explained horsegiirL. “And she is the coolest pro surfer seahorse on this side of the planet??  This is what this video about, a real story that happened to me a while ago in Brazil.”

 Of working with Enantios Dromos and Rosario Bohio, horsegiirL said: “I have been a massive fan of the work of enantios and rosario for many years and it has been such an honour to work with them in Brazil my favourite country in the world with such an amazing sweet and talented team.

“It is always such a nerve wrecking process to create a music video because there are so many people involved in the creative that it can feel quite chaotic and the outcome sometimes is not guaranteed to be what I love. But with this team I just felt so understood and supported and it was smooth sailing for most of the time, and I would absolutely love to come back to Brazil and actually shoot at a real beach next time.”
