Kasabian announce huge show at London’s Finsbury Park
The band have marked the news by also sharing a new single titled ‘Hippie Sunshine’

Kasabian have announced details of their biggest headline show in London to date, at Finsbury Park next summer.
The band will release new album Act III next summer, just in time to play the huge outdoor gig on July 4. Support will come from Louis Dunford, Razorlight and more.
To celebrate the news, the band have released a new single from the album, ‘Hippie Sunshine’. Of the new song, vocalist Serge Pizzorno said: “The track is about the restless energy of hyper individuals who struggle to slow down and face reality, searching instead for the illusion of escape,” Serge says. “It captures the fleeting moment where everything feels light and limitless, yet beneath it lies a deep sense of disconnection, something both beautiful and tragic.”
Artist pre-sale for the gigs begins on Thursday, September 25 at 930am BST, with general sale the following day at the same time. You can get tickets here.
Pizzorno recently spoke to Rolling Stone UK about Act III and reworking the band’s recent song ‘G.O.A.T’ to become the new title track for Sky’s 2025/26 Premier League season coverage.
“It’s a beautiful thing that 20 years after ‘Club Foot’ we’ve got a new song that is going to become one of those iconic tracks,” said Serge.
“It’s a real honour. I’ve been watching football for a long time and being part of the fabric of people’s weekends and being a part of it is a big deal. It’s not lost on me.”
Confirming the start of work on the new record, he added: “Everything at this point is on pure instinct, but I’m picking up the guitar every day and it’s making magic. The guitar is a huge part of where I am at the moment,” he said. “It’s really exciting because previously it’s not always interested me that much, but it’s back in my hands every day and it’s singing riffs, massive riffs, so guitar is at the forefront for me at the moment.”
He went on: “The world just excites me, you know? I get up and I’m excited by what is possible, and I think that keeps things fresh when we’re nine albums in. Every morning, it’s like music is fuel for me. It’s scientifically proven that it makes you feel better; it touches a part of your brain and that gets ignited when you listen to a bit of music that you love. It really does something to you. So I’m in the business of making that with my bare hands, and that, I think, is another reason for me to just keep making music.”
