Earlier this summer, Lewis Capaldi made his return to live performance with a secret set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, two years after his performance at the festival in 2023, where he was seen battling Tourette’s throughout the set and announced a short while afterwards that all upcoming tour dates would be cancelled to focus on his mental and physical wellbeing.
Reviewing the Sheffield show of his recent comeback arena tour, Rolling Stone UK said: “Undoubtedly, for any performer, opening night can be an experience where an artist might feel the most nervous, yet Capaldi was firing on all cylinders from start to finish. He’s back where he belongs.”
