Mel B has confirmed that Spice Girls are “definitely doing something” together in 2024 as reunion rumours continue to swirl.

Spice Girls officially broke up in 2000 but have held temporary reunions since with live shows in 2007, 2008, 2012 and at various points since 2018.

The band last performed together at Wembley Stadium in 2019, which marked the end of their first tour as a foursome without Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice).

Now, Mel B has confirmed that the band will return in some form or other in 2024 to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a group.

The reveal came during an appearance on Loose Women, when host Christine Lampard asked about a potential reunion and said: “We need happiness, we need empowerment back again, we need Spice Girls back basically.”

Mel B then responded: “Tell me about it… we are definitely doing something.”

“I’m probably going to get told off [for saying that], but I’ve said it. There you go. “We’ll be announcing at some point later this year. Now I’m going to be in trouble.”

Last year, Mel C said that all members of the Spice Girls would like to play Glastonbury Festival in 2024.

“They’re rehearsed, they know the words, they’re ready,” Mel C continued. “So, if I can drag the other girls along… I say ‘drag’ the other girls along – all of the Spice Girls would like to play Glasto, that is the truth. It’s just getting it together, the timing being right.”

The line-up for this year’s Glastonbury is set to arrive next week, as revealed by organiser Emily Eavis.
