Emily Eavis has given an update on when Glastonbury‘s 2024 line-up and headliners will be unveiled – and it’s very soon.

The Glastonbury boss was speaking at Oxford University’s Women in Music conference today (March 7) when she told attendees that a first list of names should be expected next week, with two female headliners topping the bill.

The update comes via eFestivals, which has a solid track record for reporting rumoured Glastonbury line-ups and when the full bill can be expected.

While no names have yet been confirmed, female acts in the running for this year’s festival reportedly include the likes of Dua Lipa, Madonna, Stevie Nicks and SZA, while Shania Twain has been linked with the legends slot.

Coldplay, veterans of Worthy Farm, have also been linked with their first headline set since 2016.

Tickets for this year’s Festival are sold out, but a customary Spring resale date will be confirmed once the line-up is revealed.

In anticipation of this, Glastonbury released an official warning in January against bogus ticket sellers.

In addition, they stressed that “some of the Festival’s official partners may run officially endorsed competitions in the coming months” but as of yesterday, “there are currently NO legitimate ticket contests running for Glastonbury 2024”.

As has been the case for over a decade, successful tickets buyers were required to pre-register with official photo ID, which was initially introduced to cut down on ticket touts. Each attendee’s ticket comes with a photo of their face printed on it.

An exact date for the 2024 re-sale is yet to be announced, but it usually takes place in the spring of each year.
