All Points East to return for two weekends in August 2022

The East London event is promising “six days of incredible music”

All Points East festival will return for two successive weekends next year.

The Victoria Park bash, which has a become a staple of London’s musical summer since its first edition in 2018, will run for two days on the first weekend (August 19-20) and four days a week later (August 25-28).

“Because just the one weekend wasn’t quite enough…we’re back for two in 2022,” said the festival’s Twitter account today (November 19), with a promise of “six days of incredible music”.

Initial lineup details will follow on Monday (November 22) at 1pm UK time. Early bird tickets are available on pre-sale now. You can see the announcement on Twitter below.

This year’s instalment of the 40,000 capacity event saw sets from Arlo Parks, Foals, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jorja Smith, Bicep and Kano, amongst others, across two stages.

Previous festivals have boasted bills with the likes of LCD Soundsystem, London Grammar, The Strokes, Bon Iver, Christine and the Queens, The xx, Björk, The National and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

The 2020 edition of All Points East was cancelled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kraftwerk, Tame Impala and Massive Attack hard been among the intended headliners.
