Architects announce 10th album ‘The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit ‘
The metalcore outfit's next record arrives in October

Architects have announced details of their 10th studio album The Classic Symptoms Of A Broken Spirit and shared ‘Tear Gas’, the first track to arrive from the record.
The celebrated metalcore outfit will drop the follow-up to 2021’s For Those That Wish To Exist on October 21 via Epitaph Records and it’s available to pre-order here.
Recording on the album began after the band headed straight into the studio following the release of their latest record, with the band’s Dan Searle and Josh Middleton taking up production duties alongside frontman Sam Carter.
An official release explains that The Classic Symptoms Of A Broken Spirit reflects the band’s “free, playful and spontaneous” side after they were finally reunited in their own HQ, Brighton’s Electric Studios. In contrast, covid restrictions meant that their last album was largely recorded remotely.
