Billie Eilish is seeking a temporary restraining order against a man who has allegedly broken into her home multiple times in recent weeks.

The Happier Than Ever star said the incidents had caused “substantial anxiety, fear, and emotional distress” to herself and to her family. In legal documents seen by PA [via Metro], Eilish says that 39-year-old Christopher Anderson visited her childhood home “unannounced and invited” on several occasions between late December and early January, with the most recent coming on January 5.

“My father and members of the Los Angeles Police Department recently informed me that an individual who goes by the name Christopher A Anderson or Chris Anderson recently entered the interior of my family’s home on January 5 2023, unannounced and uninvited, after apparently professing his love for me and expressing that he really wanted to meet me,” she said in the filing.

“Regrettably, this is not the first time an unknown individual has attempted to contact my family and me specifically by stalking us outside my family’s home and by making professions of love to and threats of violence against me. However, each such occasion, including the present one, causes me substantial anxiety, fear, and emotional distress over my personal safety and that of my father, mother, and brother.”

“I worry that some day one of these individuals will do something violent or extremely disturbing to me or one of my family members,” she concluded. Eilish has been plagued by stalkers in recent years, having previously taken out a five-year restraining order against another man, John Hearle, in 2021 after he camped outside a school opposite her family home and was seen perching on a fence to look into her house.

Before that, in 2020, another man, Prenell Rousseau, visited Eilish’s home unbidden on seven occasions, leading to images of the house being blurred on Google Street View for her security.

She brought down the curtain on a wildly successful 2022 last month with three hometown shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, at which she brought out a starry array of special guests including Dave Grohl, Phoebe Bridgers and Childish Gambino. She will headline Reading and Leeds this summer.
