Fontaines D.C. announce massive UK and European arena tour
A huge arena tour beckons...

Fontaines D.C. have announced details of their biggest headline tour to date, taking in twenty shows across the UK and Europe later this year.
Five days after releasing their fifth album Dopamine Chamber, the Dublin band will kick off the jaunt in Lisbon before the tour concludes at London’s O2 Arena on 27th November. The announcement comes ahead of a run of festival headline appearances this weekend – Reading Festival (tonight), Leeds Festival (Saturday) and Electric Picnic (Sunday).
Though their native Ireland is notably missing from the live dates, the band say that fans should keep their eyes peeled for news on that front very soon.

Dopamine Chamber will arrive on October 16 via XL Recordings and marks the follow-up to 2024’s Romance. Just like that last record, James Ford is on production duties.
They have shared the lead single ‘Marianne’, while the record itself, is said to “move between gratification and dread until the two meld together, reflecting the overwhelm of artificial intelligence, environmental collapse and political violence all riding the same algorithms as memes, jokes and celebrity culture”.
The new album comes after the band teased ‘Marianne’ during their Spain shows earlier this month, as well as debuting ‘Six Shot Morning’.
It marked their first dates since the unexpected death of Trevor Dietz, the band’s long-time manager, in June.
