Frank Ocean previewed two unreleased tracks during his latest Blonded Radio shows this weekend.

Episodes 012 and 013 of Ocean’s Apple Music 1 series aired yesterday (July 10), which was also the tenth anniversary of the Californian artist’s debut studio album, 2012’s Channel Orange.

The first instalment, titled ‘Blonded LSD’, included an interview with psychologist and writer Dr. James Fadiman about microdosing and psychedelics. It was soundtracked by a 35-minute instrumental score produced by Ocean.

In the follow-up episode, called ‘Blonded ENERGY!’, listeners heard a chat between Ocean and Master Mingtong Gu about self-realisation and the ancient practice of Qi Gong. This edition also featured an Ocean-produced score.

Additionally, Ocean has launched a new orange poster to mark a decade of Channel Orange as well as some Blonded Radio-branded T-shirts. Visit his official store for further information.

Ocean previewed a nine-minute track during a festive edition of Blonded Radio last December. He is yet to follow up on his latest album, 2016’s Blonde, but has dropped a series of standalone singles in the interim.

Last November, Ocean made a rare public statement to pay tribute to the late DJ and designer Virgil Abloh. “I know grief is love that you don’t get to express so this is an attempt at expressing it,” he wrote. “Love you V. You’re a hero.”

Frank Ocean is reportedly set to headline Coachella 2023. He was initially scheduled to top the bill in 2020, but the California festival was ultimately cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
