Glastonbury 2024: latest weather forecast promises a mixed bag

Glastonbury 2024 is only a week away, and festival fans heading to Worthy Farm are eagerly awaiting news on whether this year’s festival will be a washout or not.

The festival returns to Worthy Farm between June 26-30 later this month, with Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA set to headline the Pyramid Stage.

Earlier this month, Glastonbury also announced its full 2024 line-up and details of stage times. Over recent weeks, the festival have been sharing stage-by-stage announcements, including the news that the festival’s towering Arcadia spider will be replaced by a giant dragonfly, that the Genosys stage will return to Block9 and the end of The Rabbit Hole after 17 years at the festival, replaced by new venues The Wishing Well and Scissors in The Park.

But as ever, the weather down on Worthy Farm will be a massive talking point for attendees. According to BBC Weather, here’s what Glastonbury-goers can expect.

• Wednesday June 26th: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Highs of 22°C, lows of 11°C

• Thursday June 27th: Light rain showers and a gentle breeze. Highs of 21°C, lows of 11°C

• Friday June 28th: Light rain and a gentle breeze. Highs of 21°C, lows of 11°C

• Saturday June 29th: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Highs of 21°C, lows of 11°C

• Sunday June 30th: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Highs of 21°C, lows of 12°C

Last week, Emily Eavis also confirmed that the festival will take a fallow year in 2026.
