Glastonbury Festival might be taking a planned fallow year in 2026, but talk has now turned to its return as the festival confirms dates of its 2027 edition.

This year’s festival took place at the end of June and took in headline performances from The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo.

The Worthy Farm event will take a break next year to allow the festival’s huge land area a period of recovery, but it has now been confirmed that 2027 will see the event take up its traditional slot over the last week of June once more. In this specific case, it will return from Wednesday 23rd June to Sunday 27th June, 2027.

Perhaps most excitingly, keen Glastonbury-goers could already be in with a shot to secure their tickets for the 2027 event.

The festival has today announced it is offering the first 25 pairs of tickets to the event in a prize draw raising emergency funds to support the work of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF UK), who are providing medical care to people affected by the current conflicts in Gaza and Sudan.

The draw can be entered from now until 7th November here, with all funds being split between both extremely important organisations.

Worthy Farm officially closed its gates at the end of June, but briefly reopened at the start of September for the Pilton Party, which took in performances from RAYE and Inhaler. The annual fundraising gig is billed as a “‘thank you’ for villagers, workers and local people” and traditionally takes place the end of summer.
