Jamie xx has returned with new single ‘It’s So Good’, marking the first original release from the DJ and producer since 2022.

The latest release from the producer is a slow-burning dance track which will soundtrack the latest Chanel Coco Crush campaign, launching today.

His latest original releases came in 2022’s ‘Let’s Do It Again’ and ‘Kill Dem’, but last summer saw him performing at festivals across the globe, as well as a run of North American dates with LCD Soundsystem and IDLES.

He has also recently worked with his The xx bandmate Romy on her acclaimed solo album Mid Air, producing the single ‘Enjoy Your Life’ alongside Fred again.. and Stuart Price. That followed his production work on The xx’s Oliver Sim’s 2022 debut solo album Hideous Bastard.

It was also recently confirmed that The XX are back in the studio to begin work on their anticipated fourth album.

“I think Oliver [Sim] and Jamie [xx]and I have all tried new things and learned a lot from different projects and I think that’s quite healthy to be like, ‘What have you learned? What should we do now?’,” Romy told NME.

“And I think it’s quite wide open and it’s exciting to be starting again in a way. But we’ve started making some music and I’m really excited about it.”
