Kings Of Leon, George Ezra and Disclosure are set to headline next year’s Boardmasters festival.

The festival announced its line up details on social media yesterday (October 27), including the names of other acts due to perform, in a promotional video set against Kings of Leon’s ‘Use Somebody’.

Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, Freya Ridings, Bastille, IDLES, Declan McKenna, Joy Crookes and Shy FX are also set to perform at next year’s event, with “hundreds” more acts due to be announced soon.

The music and surf event, held in Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach in Cornwall, will return between August 10-14 2022.

The Covid-19 pandemic forced Boardmasters to cancel their 2020 event, and in 2019, the festival suffered another setback. Severe weather conditions, including high winds, led to the cancellation of the festival over safety concerns that year, just hours before the festival was due to open its doors. Thousands of festival goers found out the news upon their arrival in Cornwall.

The festival’s triumphant return this year saw a line up that included the likes of Foals, Gorillaz, Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas, Sam Fender, Loyle Carner and Dizzee Rascal.
