The album will be available digitally from 26 September and the singer has marked the occasion by sharing a live version of the title track ‘Tension’, which arrives after she brought the tour to a close in Mexico last night.

The Tension Tour took in 66 shows across the globe and began in her native Australia, before traversing through Asia and North America, including two sold-out nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden, before UK dates including The O2 Arena in May.

The tour also took in a show at London’s Hyde Park last summer, which RS UK hailed as “career-spanning pop-rave euphoria”.

“Undoubtedly, few artists can hold an audience’s attention as effortlessly as Kylie who, four decades into her career, continues to deliver the ultimate crowd-pleasing pop spectacle,” our verdict stated.

“This pop queen’s London takeover proves her unchallengeable place atop the throne remains perfectly intact.”
