Nadia Rose has released new single ‘Woah’, the latest release from the London MC this year.

It comes after she collaborated with NQOBILÉ and Dance God Lloyd for ‘Look At Her’ back in July.

The latest track shows off Rose’s impressive lyrical flow and is her first solo release since the ‘First Class’ EP arrived in 2020 through her own label, Qwerky Entertainment.

She also featured on a remix of TiZ EAST’s track ‘Bad Habits’ with Moelogo.

Rose hasn’t yet released an official music video, but you can check out the track below:

Nadia first appeared on the scene after finishing fifth on the BBC Sound Of 2017 list, after winning a MOBO award in 2016.

She told the BBC she felt “super liberated” and “gassed” to now be releasing music on her own label after experiencing frustrations in the past.

Nadia continued: “I was creating music that then wasn’t seeing the light of day, so in order to actually have music out I had to leave that situation.”

“Then it was just about getting my own thing set up as a bit of a middle finger up to them, as well as knowing that I wanted to be in full control of my destiny,” she added.

She also explained that texting Rihanna inspired her to continue with her music and made her even more determined to succeed.

Nadia said: “I was going through security at the Eurostar, and I was actually texting Rihanna,

“We were talking and in the space of time that it took me to get through, she’d already boarded her jet in Paris and got back to London.”

“So I thought, ‘My life needs to change!'”

She was also previously picked by Rihanna to join the writing team for her eagerly-awaited forthcoming ninth album.
