Oasis announce 30th anniversary deluxe edition of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’
The collection includes new stripped down version of five album tracks, including 'Acquiesce,' out now

Ahead of their highly-anticipated reunion tour, Oasis have announced a 30th anniversary deluxe edition of their seminal album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?. The release, out Oct. 3, will include five newly-recorded unplugged versions of classic tracks, including ‘Acquiesce,”’which dropped today.
The 30th anniversary edition will be available across 2-CD, 3-LP, and digital formats. Alongside the 2014 remastered version of the album, fans will get stripped-back takes on ‘Cast No Shadow,’ ‘Morning Glory,’ ‘Wonderwall,’ ‘Acquiesce,’ and ‘Champagne Supernova,’ which were produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher with Callum Marinho at Noel’s Lone Star Sound studio in London. The reissue also features new artwork by original LP sleeve designer Brian Cannon and new liner notes.
The anniversary edition of What’s The Story) Morning Glory? will be available in several exclusive colored vinyl formats, including indie record store exclusive ‘Cast No Shadow’ -inspired crystal clear 3LP, HMV ‘Morning Glory’-inspired blue marble 3LP, Amazon exclusive ‘Wonderwall’-inspired sepia marble 3LP, and official store exclusive ‘Acquiesce’-inspired neon orange 3LP. All formats will include the 2014 remastered version of the album alongside the new bonus versions.
(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? was originally released in October 1995. It sold more than 22 million copies worldwide and earned Oasis their first BRIT Award for Best British Album. To date, it is the U.K.’s third biggest selling studio album of all time. In a review, Rolling Stone wrote that the album was “more than a natural progression; it’s a bold leap forward that displays significant musical and personal growth, not to mention a far greater familiarity with the Fab Four’s back catalog.”
