Shygirl announces debut album ‘Nymph’ and shares lead track ‘Firefly’
The debut album from the London musical polymath arrives in September

Shygirl has announced details of her debut album Nymph, as well as sharing the lead single ‘Firefly’. You can listen to it in full below.
The first album from the London musical polymath will arrive on September 30 via Because Music and sees her collaborating with a wide array of stars. The likes of Mura Masa, Karma Kid, Arca and Sega Bodega have all been confirmed for inclusion.
The record also sees Shygirl enlisting prolific production duties from the likes of Lady Gaga collaborator BloodPop, Vegyn, Noah Goldstein and Danny L Harle.
Shygirl has previously shared two EPs: 2018’s Cruel Practice and 2020’s Alias. More recently she has released the single ‘Cleo’ and enlisted Slowthai to appear on ‘BDE’.
Other prolific releases include an appearance on FKA twigs’ ‘Papi Bones’, which appeared on the Caprisongs mixtape.
In February she also joined Mura Masa’s cover of ‘Bbycakes’, alongside Lil Uzi Vert and PinkPantheress.
The new version of 3 Of A Kind’s 2004 hit sees each of the three guests adding their own original verses in between the song’s distinctive chorus.
Shygirl will also hit the road in June for a string of festival performances that will see her through until the end of the year. Check those out in full below.
