“THE JOKES WEREN’T funny” or whatever Taylor Swift sings in ‘You’re on Your Own, Kid.’

The Eras Tour star surprised everyone when she walked the Golden Globes red carpet in a glimmery green dress (Reputation TV coming?). The singer was all smiles as she posed for photos and took her seat inside — but she clearly was not a fan of a joke made about her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the NFL by the show’s host.

“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL?” asked host Jo Koy, who struggled through his monologue earlier in the night. “At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.”

The camera then panned to Swift, who gave a straight face, pursed her lip, and took a sip from her glass of wine. Swift’s bestie, Selena Gomez, was also spotted putting her head down during the awkward moment.

The singer’s concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was also nominated for the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award against some of the biggest films of the year, including Barbie, OppenheimerThe Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The Eras Tour film is the top-grossing concert movie of all time.

Koy was met with boos during his opening monologue at Sunday’s awards show. “It’s hard to blame the guy though given that it was not only his first time hosting an awards show but he had very little time to get his act together,” read commentary from Rolling Stone‘s Marlow Stern.

After a massive 2023, Swift is set to return to her Eras Tour in early February. She’ll start her run of shows in Tokyo before heading to Australia, Singapore, and Europe in May. She’ll return stateside in the fall.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, according to data from live music trade publication Pollstar, with the tour becoming the first ever to gross at least $1 billion. Swift dethroned Elton John’s years-long Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour for the top spot.
