Tears For Fears have announced ‘The Tipping Point’ tour, heading out across the UK in 2022.

Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith announced the new run of dates today (November 12), marking their first tour in three years across 16 dates up and down the country.

The duo will also play a string of dates in the US, with shows in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and more across May and June of next year.

The Tipping Point UK leg of the Tears For Fears tour –kicking off in Cincinatti on May 20 – will begin with a date in Telford, Shropshire, on Friday July 1, before then playing in Newcastle, Derby, Leeds, Canterbury, Exeter and more.

“We couldn’t be more excited to start playing concerts again,” Smith said in a statement announcing the tour. “We’ve missed seeing our friends on the road around the world and the energy of performing live.”

Orzabal added that the forthcoming tour had been “a long time in the making,” and said that he and Smith are “looking forward to playing our favourites from the new album as well as our classics from throughout the years”.

Tickets for the new tour will go on sale next Friday (November 19) at 9am. A presale for AEG members will start on November 17 – click here to sign up.
