Congrats, Biffy!

The ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards 2025 have officially kicked off and we’re buzzing to share that The Live Act Award, supported by Vyra, has been won by Biffy Clyro.
The Scottish rockers picked up the award from Sugababes’ Mutya Buena and beat the likes of CMAT, Self Esteem, JADE, RAYE and Oasis to pick up the gong.
Accepting the award, frontman Simon Neil said: “Thank you very very much Rolling Stone UK! I’m so glad we’re here supporting the Music Venue Trust. Our band does not exist without small venues. No-one gave a shit about us, which I actually think was the best thing for this band. For years, we played these small venues, and without them we wouldn’t have learned how to play. We wouldn’t have made that connection with the fans, so it’s really important that we do save all these venues.
“Also, no-one really went to see Oasis this year! Thanks so much, we’re Biffy fucking Clyro!”
The third ever ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards kicked off earlier tonight with a performance of ‘My Generation’ from Just For One Day: The Live Aid Musical star Fayth Ifil, before Myles Smith took to the stage to deliver a rendition of his song ‘Someone New’.
