Hotly-tipped duo Wet Leg have announced their own UK headline tour for next year.

The Isle Of Wight band received rave reviews over the festival season and they’re currently on tour with Inhaler. Further support sets are planned with Shame, Sports Team and Willie J Healey.

Wet Leg have now announced a nine-date UK headline tour for 2022, starting on April 16 in Newcastle and winding up on April 27 at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms. It also includes a date in the capital at London’s Scala on April 26.

The new UK headline is in addition to shows at London’s Omeara, Glasgow’s McChuills, and Manchester’s Night And Day Café which are planned for later in October.

There is also a run of shows planned in the US where they’ll be playing four gigs in December.

Wet Leg consists of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers and they’re signed to Domino Records.

The band recently released their second single of 2021 called ‘Wet Dream’, following their debut song ‘Chaise Longue’ which now has more than 3 million streams and 1 million views of the music video.

Teasdale described ‘Wet Dream’ as: “A breakup song; it came about when one of my exes went through a stage of texting me after we’d broken up telling me that ‘he had a dream about me.”
